CELEBRATING THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN

This web site is the on-line Aviation Art Gallery promoting the work of Aviation Artist Dominic JH Berry. A practicing aviation artist since 1991, paintings and prints are held in collections in the US, Europe and the UK.

My father is ex-USAF, and my Grandfather was one of the first pilots in the RNAS so I grew up with aircraft in my blood. Painting planes from the glory years between the wars, the aircraft of WWII and into the jet age, it is a passion that continues to motivate my work.

Since my earliest memory, sitting on the roof of the car as jets screamed overhead at the local airshow, I have been passionate about aeroplanes. The smell of the oil, the clink of cooling metal and the nostalgia of incredible designs and the bravest of men continue to inspire my work.

I joined arguably the world's foremost aviation artists' society, the Guild of Aviation Artists (GAvA) in 2003 as a friend and was recognised in 2006 with the award of the Frank Wootton Trophy for the South West region.
